The Basics

Jobs-for-Nurses is an online recruitment platform for South African nurses. Registered users are automatically linked to available jobs based on their profiles. Nurses can request interviews with employers for jobs that they are interested in. When accepting a job offer the nurse will receive a cash benefit (one thousand Rand) as a reward for using the platform (Terms and Conditions apply).
Nurses register on the platform, using a quick and simple registration process. Based on the information provided, the user is linked to available jobs that match his or her profile. The matched jobs can be viewed, and interviews can be requested.
Jobs-for-Nurses works with Nurses registered with the South African Nursing Council and South African Private hospitals.
Jobs-for-Nurses does not have an App. You have to register and view your job matches online at www.jobsfornurses.co.za. We will notify you of new job matches and, where applicable, arrange your job interviews using email and SMS.

Registration

Jobs-for-Nurses does not require a resumé during the registration process, and no uploads are needed. You may, however, be required by the employers to provide your resumé when you attend your interviews.
You do not require any certificate or job history experience to register. To register, you need your personal information and nursing-related information. The registration process is quick and simple.
Jobs-for-Nurses needs your Personal Information to identify you and communicate with you. Your nursing information is required to match you with jobs based on your profile.
You do not require a reference to complete the registration process. You may, however, be required by employers to provide references when you attend your interviews.
Jobs-for-Nurses is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We will not disclose any personally identifiable information to any third-party, except (1) with your specific consent, (2) to enable us to provide our services or (3) if required by law. Please familiarise you with our Privacy Policy that can be found on www.jobsfornurses.co.za.

My Matches

Matches are the jobs that are highlighted to you based on your profile. For each match, you’ll see the location and a brief description of the job and job requirements. This information is kept up to date, with new matches being added at regular intervals. If a position is no longer available the match will be removed.
Matches are based on your Specialty, Experience and Category of Nursing.
You will see your matches once you Login to your account on www.jobsfornurses.co.za. The system will notify you via email and SMS of new job matches when available.
You will not see matches when there are no available jobs based on your Specialty, Experience and Category of Nursing or while the system is being updated. New jobs are added regularly, and you will be informed via email and SMS of new job matches when available.

Interviews

Simply click “Request Interview” when you find a job you like to arrange your interview with the employer. If your interview request is accepted, we provide you with the information required to attend the job interview.
You may request interviews for as many matches that you want. We advise that you only request interviews for those jobs that you feel you are truly qualified for and would seriously consider pursuing if you got an offer.
The hiring manager at the employer will decide to accept your interview request.
We will provide your profile to the hiring manager at the employer when you request an interview. If accepted, we will introduce you to the hiring manager to arrange your interview directly.
The hiring manager at the employer will inform you if your application was successful.

Cash reward

You will qualify to receive a cash benefit (one thousand Rand) from Jobs-for-Nurses when you accept the job offer from your new employer (subject to the Terms and Conditions below).
You will receive your cash reward from Jobs-for-Nurses as soon as you have completed your probation period (if applicable) with your new employer.

You have to receive and accept the job offer based on the introduction made by Jobs-for-Nurses to the employer.

You have to inform Jobs-for-Nurses that you have accepted a job offer from the employer.

You have to complete the employer’s minimum probation period (typically 3 months, if applicable).
